BEST DAY OF MY LIFE
(technically second best, but whatevs.)

my party....was amazing. just. amazing.

i apparently have the sweetest, most generous, most talented friends in the world.

we raised over 300 dollars for FAMSAC. yay.

summary:

getting everything ready wasnt too stressful. i got a hug from this guy named gord at the church which was oddly the best hug ever. cuz he's like...a unviersal grandpa. awww. i also got to put shiny sparkles on the tables! highlight!

i had lunch with my family, then went home and watched grey's anatomy and private practice in my pj's. (parfait, non?)

then i went to go get balloons, got a wonderful happy birthday phone call (schmee, love love) , picked up sarah gee and tiff and spent two straight hours being a TOTAL girl. a shower with smelly soap, hair , makeup, dress, shoes, the works. it was amazing. tiff and sarah, thanks again! that was a blast!

oh. and i looked REALLY good. (i'm so modest eh?)....but really. my hair was co-operative, i got to steal tiff's make-up and was wearing my cappies dress (which i would marry if it wasnt..you know...a garment....)

i got to the church and a few people came early, (cale cody gab sarah t etc.) and cody attacked the piano. i was quite pleased.

caleigh's shirt was SO low cut. it didnt even exist. again. quite pleased. everyone looked amazing actually. i have really attractive, talented, and sweet friends.

i'd go through the performances, but they were all too amazing to describe. god, i love my musician friends. truly.

it was perfect. fair trade coffee....my favourite artists....charity...SO many hugs. my arms (i kid you not) are sore today.

presents: (i told people not to get me anything. but they still did *rolls eyes* )
i have enough body butter to last me a life time....*loves it* the flavours/smells include vanilla, vanilla spice, gingerbread, and strawberry. i'm officialy edible.

at the moment, i smell like christmas.

i also got a bunch of gorgeous jewlery and this AMAZING national geographic book called women photographers.

yes. my friends know me well.

the best present hands down though was the drawing sarah gave me. it means SO much. and it's gorgeous! it's like...my face....just better! (btw, sarah, HOW are you so good at drawing noses? especially ukranian ones.)

a close second for favourite present was really just writing. someone put closure, and forgiveness and the words i've been craving for years in a card. it's nice to get something you /need/ rather than something you want for your birthday.

so i'd like to say that im entirely satisfied with my life. (or at least as satisfied as i can be at the moment)

i really do have it all.

oh! claire wisdom! for anyone who wants to be happy.

the love you put out into the world really does come back to you.


p.s- also, dylan (my puppy) and i have the same birthday, so wish him a happy 9th birthday!
